I recently had a very large tree removed and selected Alex and his staff to complete the tasks. His pricing is very sharp he is prompt to reply to messages and we were able to quickly set a date. On the day Alex and his staff were amazing. They are highly professional very careful and safe and what they do. They cleared up all the mess. You could hardly see where this huge tree had been felled. I wanted the word for firewood so Alex very kindly chopped into pieces big enough for us to lift on the trailer. I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone needing any work done on their trees. And to top it off he’s just the most light for young man.

Alex was great overall. From the moment I enquired about a quote, he was efficient with his communication and arranged to come and do the quote and completed it within a few days of my enquiry. The quote was fair and reasonable and provided in writing via email after Alex visited and saw the trees for himself.

After I decided that I was goinh to have Alex in to do the job, he booked me in and did it in a timely manner, still only about a week out from the initial enquiry.

The job was completed to a high standard, all debris was removed and my yard was left in a clean state with no wood or chunks lying around.

Alex from Better Trees pruned the large tree in our front yard. First with his 6 metre pole saw. Then with incredible agility, a climbing harness and chainsaw. He removed the dead wood and branches that were overhanging the carport, maintaining the overall shape of the top canopy. We are very pleased with the result and the professional manner in which Alex did the work. Alex is passionate about trees and nature generally. Today we experienced excellent service from this company. We contacted several tree felling companies who made appointments to come assess the tree and did not turn up or bother to let us know. In stark contrast Alex from Better Trees Bay of Plenty arrived on time gave us various options regarding mulch etc, gave us a prompt quote. We in fact had to postpone the work day, even that was not a problem. Alex, Paris and Gee arrived on time, and even cut up a tree we had already felled and mulched the rest for us at no extra cost. They offered to mulch into a trailer for us and dump it closer to our gardens, They were polite, hard working and went the extra mile. We will definately be using their services in the future. Could not recommend them more highly.

Thanks to Alex, Wayne and Daniel for a great, professional job felling our cherry tree that was becoming too large and dangerous. Sad to see it go. And also to the team for pruning several other trees on our section and cleaning up so well afterwards. Alex split some branches for firewood for us and also liaised with Josh Wright who took three large pieces of the tree for milling. They even made the stump into a kids table with steps cut in for the grandkids to climb it! We are so glad we found Alex and his crew.
